Niles may not come charging out of the dugout right away, but this gentle mixed breed has all the heart of a true hometown favorite. Like any rookie adjusting to a new team, he can be a little shy in unfamiliar places and around new faces. But with patience, kindness, and a calm home where he feels safe, Niles slowly begins to settle in and show the sweet personality waiting just beneath the surface.
Once he builds trust, Niles becomes the kind of loyal companion who makes every quiet moment feel special. His soft tail wags, gentle affection, and playful spirit start to shine through, turning everyday routines into small victories worth celebrating. He enjoys being close to his people and forms strong bonds with those willing to give him the time and understanding he deserves.
Niles is not searching for perfection. He is simply hoping for a forever family willing to cheer him on, move at his pace, and remind him that love can be steady and safe. For the person willing to give him that chance, this sweet boy will be worth every extra inning.
