Hawthorne, the Siamese Mix, Looking for a Home, Ready for a Full and Happy Life

Hawthorne is a 1-year-old tabby-point Siamese mix with a gentle nature and a quiet charm. He can be shy at first, but once he feels safe, his affectionate personality quickly shines through. He enjoys attention, loves being petted, and is known as a true “purr baby.” He also has a favorite pastime many cat lovers appreciate: making biscuits with his paws when he is content.

Hawthorne has a condition sometimes seen in Siamese cats involving eye alignment and small involuntary eye movements. These traits, known as strabismus and nystagmus, are linked to the same genetics that create the Siamese breed’s distinctive coloring. While his eyes may look a little different, these lifelong conditions are typically harmless and not painful.

Cats like Hawthorne usually adapt well and live normal, full lives. His vision may be slightly different, but it does not stop him from enjoying affection, exploring his surroundings, or forming strong bonds with people.

What Hawthorne needs most is a patient home willing to give him a little time to settle in. In return, he offers warmth, companionship, and a loving presence.
