A day after the Great Falls Electric (16-6) won by a huge margin over the visiting Willamette Valley (OR) Jaguars (139-90), both teams concluded Great Falls’ home stand with a second and final matchup on
Saturday evening in Great Falls.

This was also the Electric’s regular season finale as most The Basketball League (TBL) teams conclude the regular season next weekend (May 21-24).

During the weekend of March 20-21, Great Falls won the first two meetings of their series by 18 points (103-85 and 115-97) on the road inside Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon. Deon Lyle scored 28 points and pulled down 10 rebounds while Manny Izunabor also had 10 boards and Gamaun “G” Boykin made four steals in the 103-85 victory. Deon Lyle contributed 27 points, and Gamaun “G” Boykin had 20 points while Izunabor pulled down 11 of his 16 rebounds on the defensive side to earn the weekend road sweep.

The trio of Gamaun “G” Boykin, Bilal Richardson, and Deon Lyle combined to score 67 points as the Great Falls Electric recorded their largest victory of the season, winning 142-83 over the Willamette Valley (OR) Jaguars to conclude their 2026 regular season as they look toward the playoffs. Lyle contributed 10 assists, and Boykin connected 11 of his 13 shot attempts for 26 points.

Gamaun “G” Boykin, Manny Izunabor, and Rodarious “Pig” Washington scored the first eight points, giving the Electric the 8-0 advantage with 9:30 left in the first quarter of action. Willamette Valley’s Mikah Johnson Jr. got the Jaguars on the scoreboard with a pair of free throws. The Montana TBL team continued to lead throughout the final nine minutes and scored the final four points on a dunk by
Bilal Richardson and a layup by JaMichael Brown to take a 38-25 lead into the second quarter.

The Electric outscored the Jaguars, 36-18, in the second stanza as Boykin and Brown provided six second-period points apiece for head coach Broc Finstuen’s squad. Great Falls went on a 12-0 run that lasted over four minutes before Davion Burdette stopped the Jaguars scoring drought with under five minutes left before halftime. The Jaguars, under the direction of head coach Mary Stade, saw six players getting into the scoring column, with Lybrant “LJ” Robinson, Brandon Hanson, and Mikah Johnson Jr. each scoring four points each. The Jaguars did score eight straight points from Mikah Johnson Jr., Tayvion Johnson, and Brandon Hanson to end the first half. Great Falls had a
commanding 74-43 lead at the break.

The Heisey Community Center held a youth cheer camp during the day on Saturday, and they performed in front of a nice crowd at the Wiegand Center. The camp participants (Kindergarten through 6th grade) showed what they had learned during their two-hour camp. The youth Salvation Army basketball players who played in a scrimmage during Friday’s game were also in attendance, cheering on the home team.

The Electric opened the first six minutes of the third period, scoring twice as many points (14-7) as their Oregon opponents before a timeout was called. The Electric went on an 11-0 run behind the efforts of Manny Izunabor, who tallied five of his 19 total points during that stretch. Troy Mix Jr., who spent
time with Great Falls and the Tri-Cities Sun Devils this season, cut the deficit for Willamette Valley to 47 (99-52) with four minutes left. The Electric scored nine of the 16 total points for a 108-59 advantage before the start of the fourth quarter.

Willamette Valley could not keep up with the pace or the scoring by the Electric as the home team featured many fourth-quarter fast breaks that turned into points. Great Falls coasted to another win and their highest scoring total of the season in a lopsided 142-83 effort.

Gamaun Boykin (26), Bilal Richardson (21), Deon Lyle (20), Manny Izunabor (19), JaMichael Brown (14), Brendon Johnson 12), and Cooper Dewitt’s 11 points led seven of the 11 Great Falls Electric players in double-digit scoring. Iznuabor, who calls Nigeria home, made 8 of his 9 field goals and led the team in steals (3) and blocked shots (5). He also had seven of his 13 rebounds on the defensive side.

Lybrant “LJ” Robinson contributed 19 points and four assists in 48 minutes of action for the visiting team. Jusci Thompson, who also played for the Tri-Cities Sun Devils this season, had 16 points while Mikah Johnson Jr. and Troy Mix Jr. combined for 25 points in a losing effort.

The Electric ended the regular season winning 16 of their 22 games with four losses to the top team in the TBL’s West Conference, the 4Bears Roar (New Town, ND), and two losses to the Grant County (WA) Red Tails. The 2026 TBL regular season ends on Sunday, May 24th.
