Second Chances Look Good on Andi

Andi arrived quietly, carrying the story of a life that hadn’t always been gentle. When she first came into care, the outline of her ribs and hip bones told a difficult truth. But day by day, with steady meals, patient kindness, and warm hands offering reassurance, this beautiful medium-sized mixed breed has begun to transform.

Now weighing just over 43 pounds and a little more than two years old, Andi is slowly filling out—and with every pound she gains, more of her bright spirit comes through. What stands out most is how deeply she loves people. Andi leans happily into every pet she can get, staying close to her humans as if she’s making up for lost time.

She also has a playful streak that appears the moment she hits the yard. A quick burst of zoomies, a game of chase with another dog, and suddenly Andi is all joy and motion. On walks, she shows off one of her most endearing habits: little “happy hops” beside her person, as if each step is a small celebration.

Andi is still on her journey—gaining strength, confidence, and the comfort of knowing she’s safe. What she needs now is a forever home where meals are dependable, love is endless, and there’s always a soft place waiting for her.

For the family who gives her that chance, Andi promises a lifetime of loyalty and affection.
