Retired K9 Mika from the Montana Highway Patrol received her nine-year service crystal on January 29th. She received the award from Lieutenant Colonel Kyle Hayter. Sergeant Kilpela accepted the award on her behalf and took the crystal home for Mika.
K9 Mika retired from the Montana Highway Patrol last September and is now enjoying retirement with Sergeant Kilpela and his family.
