Many high school students in Belt have a job or work for someone they know. Sophomore Junior Smith runs his own firewood business.
Smith is a sophomore, and he has already started his own business. The young man has incorporated a small crew, including two other people, Landon Hansen and Bo Ratliff.
They put in around 10-15 hours on weekends, chopping and delivering wood. They put a lot of effort into their work and take pride in it as well. The boys offer fair prices for their work, and they try to please their customers as best as they can.
Smith has been running his operation for about a year and a half and has been working hard to grow his business and provide a valuable service. It’s a great experience for him, requiring him to budget time and money toward a goal.
Contact Smith at (406) 468-4952. They deliver anywhere within a 30-mile radius from Belt.
