In the early hours of the morning of August 26th, around 1:10 am, a Life Flight aircraft based in Missoula, identified as LF 88, crashed while attempting to land for a medical emergency in Lincoln.

There were no patients on board at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.

As emergency crews responded, Main Street in Lincoln was temporarily closed.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
