Christina Baldwin is a native of Montana, born in Great Falls and a third-generation member of the Leo Baldwin family in the Sun River Valley. She has fictionalized this heritage in her historical novel, The Beekeeper’s Question: Love and Honey, War and Reckoning, which recently won the Indie Book Award for Best First Novel.
Christina is an accomplished public speaker and presents an adaptable slideshow in bookstores and various other settings. Her presentations focus on local history, the journey of writing a historical novel, and the reasons why Montana served as the chosen setting for her story.
Currently, she lives north of Seattle on Whidbey Island and is traveling to Great Falls for an event titled “A Conversation with Author Christina Baldwin.” This will take place on June 25th at 5:30 PM in the Cordingley Room of the Great Falls Public Library.
Additionally, Christina will be presenting at the Glacier Park Lodge on Saturday evening, June 27th. The Great Falls Historical Society and Cassiopeia Books are both carrying her book, which is available in print, e-book, and audio formats.
