The Great Falls Gazette expanded to six days a week earlier this year, which brought on more responsibilities for Andy and Karen. We had hoped to hire more staff; however, we have found that difficult. As we usually work 15 to 20 hours per day, seven days a week, we are facing challenges as we get older. With great regret, we have decided to return to our previous schedule of three days a week, publishing on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
We are not giving up on The Great Falls Gazette, but we feel the need to slow down a little bit to take care of our health. As a result, we will also be closing our office in the Columbus Center, as we cannot staff it as frequently as we believe is necessary.
We greatly appreciate all the support from our loving community and look forward to continuing to provide local news and information for many years to come.
