Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen, in partnership with the Montana Motor Vehicle Division, has awarded a total of $26,500 to two nonprofit organizations in Montana from the Chrome for Kids Wish Fund. This fund was established with the purpose of supporting programs that have a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of children who are chronically or seriously ill.

The Chrome for Kids Wish Fund is a special revenue fund created by the Montana Legislature. Each time a resident registers a motorcycle or quadricycle in Montana, a $20 donation is contributed to this fund.

The Montana Hope Project received $17,600. They were founded and supported by the Montana Highway Patrol and dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of Montana children who are facing life-threatening illnesses. This program aims to provide moments of joy, strength, and hope for these children and their families. The grant from the Chrome for Kids Wish Fund will be utilized to fulfill the wishes of two children.

Cancer Support Community Montana received $8,900 and is committed to providing support, education, and hope to individuals affected by cancer. The organization offers psychosocial services to youth, adults, patients, caregivers, couples, and families. The grant will assist in maintaining the For One Another Family Camp free of charge, enabling children to connect with other families who share similar experiences.
