The Great Falls Electric (3-0) embarked on their first three game road journey of the 2025 The Basketball League (TBL) season on Friday in Salem, Oregon.

KD Moore scored 32 points in 43 minutes of action and Lyle Hexom chipped in 20 points as the Great Falls Electric emerged in their first road test of the season by downing the Salem (OR) Capitals, 107-100 during Friday’s TBL action at The Salem Armory Auditorium in Salem, Oregon. .

This was the first test between Great Falls and Salem this season but both clubs will meet on March 22-23 in Great Falls, Montana.

Tremont Robinson-White, and KD Moore gave the Electric a 7-3 lead early in the first quarter. The visiting team led by as many as 17 points (30-13) and held a ten-point advantage after the first twelve minutes.

Salem’s Davonte Cleveland and Carlo Angel, Jr. helped the Capitals start the second quarter on a 6-0 run that was stopped when on a layup by KD Moore with 10:12 remaining as Great Falls led 34-28. Carlos Angel scored on a long-distance trey with seven minutes left for the Capitals first lead of the game. The Great Falls offense would not allow them to lead for long as they did take a 56-53 lead into halftime.

The Electric stayed out in front in the third quarter until there was 5:33 left when Mauricio Smith evened the game at 67-67 on a driving layup. Great Falls finished with 13 of the final twenty points scored in the quarter.

A trio of players for the Electric got the fourth quarter started as Dexter Williams Jr. (6 points), Tremont Robinson-White (4 points) and Lyle Hexom (2 points) all scored during the opening three minutes of the fourth quarter. Dexter Williams Jr. scored the final points for Great Falls with under two minutes left but Salem scored the last four points of the game.

The Electric received a combined 41 points from Antwaan Cushingberry, Dexter Williams, Jr. and Tremont Robinson-White in addition to KD Moore’s 32 points and Lyle Hexom’s 20 to lead coach Steve Keller’s team to victory.

Isaiah Gentry topped the Capitals with 31 markers on 13-for-21 shooting and grabbed 12 boards. Carlos Angel, Jr. chipped in 14 points for Salem, who dropped to 1-3 on the season.
