On January 25, 2025 Deputy Aaron Skunkcap responded to a call in Fort Benton in reference to a disturbance. During this time Deputy Skunkcap was able to determine that narcotics related activity was taking place at the location.
Deputy Skunkcap secured a search warrant for the residence. Benny was utilized during the search and methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located. This resulted in an adult male being charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia.
The Chouteau County Sheriff’s Office is committed to slowing and stopping these dangerous drugs from being in our communities. We have recently developed additional partnerships with other agencies and Benny and all deputies will continue to focus on this issue.
