Ziply Fiber Launches in Great Falls

Ziply Fiber was established in 2020. When Frontier Communications, a national telephone and internet provider, filed for bankruptcy, Ziply Fiber acquired its assets in the northwest, which included Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

Ryan Luckin, who has been with Ziply Fiber since it began, explained, “We took over this company that was broken. When we acquired the company, we brought over about 1000 employees and hired another 500, bringing the total to about 1500 employees at any given time.”

Ziply Fiber is currently rolling out fiber optic internet services across various areas. The company is working on connecting nearly 10,000 addresses in the city of Great Falls, and the first 1000 addresses will be ready for service this week.

Ziply Fiber met with the city last summer and is still constructing the Great Falls build, which will take through the end of summer to complete.

The main office of Ziply Fiber is located in Kirkland, Washington. They are expanding their network and Great Falls will be the 130th market where the fiber network will be developed.

Ziply Fiber offers no annual contracts, or credit checks, and operates on a month-to-month basis. They provide high-speed fiber internet and phone products. The company offers various packages, all at a 12-month introductory rate. The lowest rate is $20 per month for the first 12 months, then increasing to $45 per month. The most popular package is the gig service, starting at $60 per month for the first 12 months and then increasing to $85 per month.
