Sharon (Shari) Baltrusch, 88, passed away on Friday, September 12th, 2025. She was born on April 8th, 1937, in Ann Arbor, MI, and grew up in Duluth, MN. It was in Havre, Montana, where she met and married Carl Baltrush in 1957. The life they built together had them traveling with their construction and trucking business- from Great Falls, to Fairbanks, Alaska, before settling in Kalispell, MT. Shari was known for her undeniable love for her kids, and devoted her life to supporting and following their sports. She was their biggest cheerleader. Shari could be heard above the crowds at all the baseball and wrestling events, you definitely knew who her kids were. She always remembered her grandkid’s birthdays and made sure to send them Dairy Queen gift cards. Shari was very outgoing and through her life, enjoyed horseback riding, being a boy scout leader, bowling, softball, volleyball, and crafting. She especially loved Line Dancing and clogging with her YaYa sisters, right up until her passing.

Shari will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known her. Shari is survived by her husband Carl of sixty-nine years, and their children Carl Jr (Linda), Chad (Lisa), Tod (Lisa), Shannon (Jack), her ten grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Wendy and brother Mike. She is preceded in death by her sister Jackie Stone and Mitzi Genger. A service will be held 2pm on September 19th at the Darlington Funeral Home in Columbia Falls.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch.
