The American Association of University Women, Great Falls (MT) Branch’s 66th Annual Book Sale begins on Wednesday, October 15 and ends on Saturday, October 25. The sale takes place on the third floor of the Library. The sale features used hardcover and paperback books, DVDs, games, CDs, and other various items in good condition.

The Great Falls branch of the AAUW has been active since 1914, making it one of the oldest women’s service groups in Montana. The branch currently has about 50 members living in the Great Falls area.

The major branch fundraising activity is the annual book sale. In 2010, they decided to expand the book sale to two weeks in October. Proceeds from the book sales fund local scholarships for those seeking bachelor’s and associate’s degrees. In addition, the branch donates funds the Great Falls Public Library, Wedsworth Memorial Library in Cascade, the Belt Public Library and the library at Great Falls College MSU.

Here are the dates and times for each of the sale dates. The sale takes place on the third floor of the GFPL, and the AAUW accepts cash, checks, debit/credit cards for payment.
