In 2024, Mercy Flight welcomed a powerful new helicopter, the Airbus H145 (N406GF), and a revised trauma program, marking a new chapter in emergency care for Northcentral Montana. With greater power and space, the new helicopter provides two-person, full-body access to patients, enhancing care during transport. “The power is a great upgrade, especially in hot weather,” said flight paramedic Rosie Rosalez. “This helicopter takes patient care to the next level.” 2024 also saw advancements in trauma care with a new trauma medical director, Dr. Jeremy Jensen, and a dedicated trauma team manager. Dr. Jensen emphasized the importance of regional trauma care, stating, “This is an opportunity to bring together the right team, new resources, and the right hospital to create the best trauma care in the state.”
With 1,273 flights in the past year, Mercy Flight and Benefis are committed to providing urgent, life-saving care when it is needed most. Thank you for trusting us with your care.
