Bette Lou Strutz, 93, of Great Falls, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
She was born on May 2, 1933, in Granger, Iowa to Martin and Hazel (Hurst) Finstead. After graduating from high school, she went on to get her associate’s degree in business.
Bette met and married Roland “Rollie” Strutz. Together they had one daughter, Kim and two sons, Kurt and Kal. They were together for 68 years prior to Rollie’s passing in 2023.
She was a homemaker and member of Harvest Springs Church where her husband was a minister. She loved gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
Bette is survived by her children, Kim Tucker of Victor, Kurt (Cheryl) Strutz of Big Sandy, and Kal (Kaylene) Strutz of Great Falls; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In Bette’s memory, donations are requested to Harvest Springs Missions.
