The City of Great Falls plans to remove the parking kiosks from the South Parking Garage on August 1. Since the introduction of free two-hour parking on weekdays in the city’s parking garages, the kiosks in the South Garage have not been generating enough revenue to cover their operating expenses, making their removal the most economical choice.

To inform users about this change, the City has placed physical notices on the kiosks in the South Garage. After the kiosks are taken out, informational signs will remain in the area for a while to help those who may not have seen earlier notices or communications from the City.

The Passport Parking mobile app will still be available in the South Parking Garage for registering for the two-hour free parking as well as for any paid parking that exceeds the free period.
