The Montana Veterans Memorial Association has announced the schedule of events for the 20th annual Veterans Day Ceremony to be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
This is the first year the association will conduct the ceremony indoors at the University of Providence Theater. The auditorium can accommodate 245 people using the theater’s newly installed seating.
United States Navy veteran Art Taft will return to serve as the master of ceremonies.
Retired Brig. Gen. Bryan Fox will provide the keynote speech during the event. During his 42 years of military service, his career advanced from serving as an enlisted aircraft mechanic crew chief with the 120th Fighter Group to serving as the commanding general of the Montana Air National Guard.
Members of the Marine Corps League will present the colors during the ceremony, and Malmstrom Air Force Base Chaplain (1st Lt.) Sean A. Barley will offer the invocation.
Local high school students participating in the United States Air Force Junior ROTC program will serve as escorts and lead the audience and participants in the “Pledge of Allegiance.”
The Sound of the Falls Chorus will sing “The Star Spangled Banner” and “America the Beautiful,” and the Great Falls Pipe Band Leader Jesse Callender will perform the “Bagpipe Salute.”
A short 6-minute video documenting the history of the memorial will be shown to the audience near the end of the ceremony.
University of Providence Vice President of Mission Integration, A. J. Hoy, will provide the benediction.
To end the ceremony, Great Falls Municipal Band trumpeter Kurt Mueller will sound Taps to honor and pay respect to our fallen military members.
Veterans Day is a federal holiday for citizens to honor the service of personnel who have served in all branches of the United States military.
