Big Sky Bungee was established by Melissa Hamm, a registered nurse who sought to promote better self-care practices in an engaging and uplifting manner.
Bungee Fitness represents an innovative, high-intensity, low-impact workout that integrates cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and acrobatics through the use of a truss-mounted bungee cord system. Participants experience a sensation of weightlessness while performing various dynamic movements, including lunges, squats, jumps, push-ups, planks, and aerial choreography.
Within this new Bungee Fitness studio, individuals are afforded the opportunity to fly, jump, and bounce through high-energy classes designed to effectively burn calories, enhance strength, and create an experience that is more akin to play than to traditional exercise. Bungee training is accessible to all, with modifications available for both novice participants and advanced athletes. This modality alleviates pressure on the joints while delivering a comprehensive full-body workout.
To ensure high-quality instruction, Melissa Hamm and Kelsi Taylor underwent certification training in Utah, following which they trained four additional instructors.
Big Sky Bungee offers classes for individuals aged 18 and older, including a dedicated class for seniors.
