The library will host seven weeks of FREE in-person Digital Literary Workshops starting on Wednesdays from Oct. 1 through November 12. Each weekly workshop runs from 2 to 4 pm in the Cordingley Room in the basement of the Library.

The workshops are geared toward people who need help getting started using basic digital terms and tools that are crucial for navigating today’s online world.  Each Workshop will be led by Chris DiSalvatore, IT expert at Great Falls College-Montana State University.

Please bring your own laptop or tablet if you have one. There will be a few available for use, but it is always better to learn on your own device. All sessions are in-person only (no recordings available), and snacks will be provided! For every class you join, your name gets entered into a drawing to win a free Amazon Fire HD10 Tablet!

Below is the schedule of topics:

  • October 1: Computer Basics (Windows 11)
  • October 8: Internet Basics
  • October 15: Cybersecurity
  • October 22: Email Basics (Gmail)
  • October 29: Mobile Devices (Apple iOS) Your own device is required
