Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art (The Square) will once again host the 14th Annual Arts on Fire Festival on Saturday, September 13th, from 10 am to 4 pm. The event is free and open to the public, with a particular focus on families and art enthusiasts of all ages. The festival will be held rain or shine, with a plan in place to move the festival inside the museum should the need arise due to rain.
The Arts on Fire Festival originally began to celebrate the ceramics program of The Square’s Education Department with raku firing demonstrations. Now in its 14th year, the festival has expanded to include a pottery sale; art activities; artist demonstrations; gallery tours; free root beer floats; an artist alley market; lawn games; food trucks; and live music, theatre, and dance performances. An estimated 2,000 members of the community attend the festival each year.
Limited accessibility parking can be found off 14th Street at the museum; the public should otherwise park across Central Avenue at Montana Credit Union.
An estimated 100 volunteers from the community donate over 300 hours of volunteer time to make this event possible each year. The Square would like to thank these volunteers, along with event sponsors and donors: Montana Credit Union, NonStopLocal, STARadio, KRTV, Meadowgold, Pepsi of Great Falls, Scheels, Kelly Signs & Design, Great Falls Public Schools Music & Art Department, and North 40 Outfitters.
A full list of the performance schedule, artists, food trucks, and activities can be found at www.the-square.org/events/aof2025. Some details may be subject to change until the date of the event.
