The Great Falls Ghostbusters have informally been in Great Falls for the past four years, focusing on trunk-or-treat events and helping the local Toys for Tots chapter.  After four years, we are now working to become a formal 501c3 non-profit. To make that happen, we are asking for support from the community to assist with the formation fees, as well as raising funds for candy for our yearly Halloween events!

Halloween is our biggest time of year; we tend to go to 3 or more trunk-or-treat events, seeing 1,500 kids each year. We also participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project, ensuring kids with allergens or health issues are able to receive allergen-friendly candy or non-food treats to still enjoy trick-or-treating to its fullest. We also assist each year in raising funds for other local charities that assist children, namely Toys for Tots.  Last year, we went toy shopping in our Ghostbusters uniforms, creating a fun buzz around town in the middle of December.

Once we are granted 501c3 status from the IRS, we will join the ranks as the 23rd Ghostbusters fan group to be recognized as a non-profit. This status will allow us more options for fundraising and grants, allowing us to help out with more local groups and charities. Anyone wanting to help can make donations via Paypal at greatfallsghostbusters@gmail.com. If you would like a donation receipt once we are granted non-profit status, please send us an email and we will send a charitable donation receipt as soon as we can and thank you!
