The annual MCA (Montana Coaches Association) coaches clinic was held Wednesday through Friday at C. M. Russell High School, as the countdown to the 2025-2026 season enters its final month.

High school and college coaches from around the region gathered to share their knowledge and skills with each other over the span of 2 and a half days. Those in attendance participated in team building exercises, as well as had the opportunity to make new connections and build relationships with fellow coaches and vendors.

“The Coaches Clinic has always been a valuable tradition for coaches across the state.” said Great Falls High Head Football Coach, Coda Tchida. “It’s a great opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with some of the best minds in the game. If you can walk away with even one new idea or insight, it can make a meaningful impact on your program.”

The Great Falls Voyagers were on the road taking on the Billings Mustangs this week as they reach the final 6 week stretch of the 2025 Pioneer League season.

Great Falls was able to get a lone win against Billings last Sunday, 9-8, to conclude their home series but found themselves coming up just short again while on the road.

The Voyagers will look forward to coming home for another series against the Idaho Falls Chukars next week, a team they’ve had some success against earlier in the season.

And finally, the Great Falls Chargers are in Medicine Hat, Alberta, for the 2025 Class AA State Championship Tournament, July 30th – August 3rd.

Final Scores:
Wednesday
Great Falls Voyagers – 3
Billings Mustangs – 4
Thursday (Double Header)
Great Falls Voyagers – 4
Billings Mustangs – 5
Great Falls Voyagers – 8
Billings Mustangs – 5
