Gerald Roger Zech, 83 years old, passed on July 21, 2025. Born April 27, 1942, in Bremerton, WA.
Jerry attended school in Bismarck, ND. He graduated from Bismarck High School in 1960. He attended trade school in Wahpeton, ND, and graduated in 1962.
Jerry went to work for Bison Ford in 1962 as a mechanic and worked there for 11 years. He also worked for the City of Great Falls as a mechanic and retired from the city.
Jerry was a trapshooter and attended shoots all over the state of Montana. He also enjoyed hunting waterfowl and big game.
Although his marriage to Virginia ended in divorce, they had two wonderful sons, Tracy & Timothy.
Jerry married Connie Fakes in 1989. They were married for 18 years until her death in 2007.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Chester & Deloris Zech.
He is survived by his sons, Tracy Zech of Great Falls & Timothy (Autumn) Zech of Augusta, and Granddaughter Chantelle Dorsey. Two sisters, Carol (Zech) Bracken & Donna (Zech) Baltzer, Brother Ronald Zech, and families.
Services will be Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Augusta Community Church, 219 Laura St, Augusta, Mt, at 11 am.
