Join us on Thursday, May 8 from 7 to 8 pm in the Cordingley Room for our penultimate Armchair Traveler Series talk featuring former Great Falls Mayor Bob Kelly, who will discuss his recent trip through Nepal with his daughter.

Kelly visited Nepal in the fall of 2022 where he and his daughter Ada visited Katmandu, Chitwan National Park, Pokhara Gorepani and Poon Hill, The Khumbu Valley, Namche Bazar and Gokyo Ri, among other stops.

Bob said of the experience, “(It) was a cultural and colorful feast for the eyes and soul.”

During his presentation on Thursday, Kelly will show photos from their trip, and a serving of authentic food from the region will be served, as well!

Before being elected mayor in 2015, Kelly was a City Commissioner for three years and worked  for more than 20 years before retiring in 2008 from DA Davidson as a Managing Director, Senior Vice President.

Following this talk, there is one last Armchair Traveler talk on June 12 when Commissioner Shannon Wilson shows us her recent trip to Scotland!
