Neighbors helping neighbors is a local listing where you can find ways of assisting others in your local community. By working with local non-profit organizations, we can reach out to people in need safely and help insure people’s needs are met.

Great Falls Gazette is committed to helping local organizations to help the less fortunate in the local community. If you manage a non-profit organization or know of one, you can post your listing here by emailing The Great Falls Gazette at info@gfgazette.com or calling us at (406) 604-8929.

My Neighbor in Need – Elderly grandmother on a very low fixed income is temporarily taking care of her two grandchildren. However, she is in great need of the removal of months of garbage, old broken furniture, etc. Her age and health has kept her from maintaining the cleanliness of her home and now it has become a hoarder situation. The good news is that we have a group of professional volunteers who have agreed to completely clean out the house, however, they need a large dumpster to dispose the items. The City of Great Falls can provide us with a 30-yard dumpster for $441. The team of professional volunteers is standing by to help but until we have enough pledges to cover the cost of the dumpster, they cannot begin the clean out. Therefore, we are asking for donations/pledges of any amount up to $441. You are not required to provide the entire needed amount; rather just tell us how much you wish to provide to help this family. If you can help, please call our office at 406-750-2542. This is a life changing need request and YOU can be part of the solution! Thank you so much. The identification number is: Great Falls #20717
