Thanks to Senator Steve Daines for doing the right thing. He got Montana Renewables’ $1.44 billion loan unfrozen. The freeze was due to President Trump’s executive order pausing the disbursement of funds from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
The pause is negatively affecting Montanans and millions of our fellow citizens across the USA. In districts represented by Republican members of Congress, IRA-funded projects have created numerous investments and manufacturing jobs. They don’t want this pause!
Senators Daines and Sheehy and Representatives Downing and Zinke all need to join with their colleagues on both sides of the aisle to stop the pause. Let us get back to work!
