The Alliance for Youth recently held their Youth Resource Center Christmas party, made possible through the generous support of the local community.
This year, Lithia served as the primary Christmas sponsor, contributing a substantial donation of $2,000. This financial support enabled Alliance for Youth to purchase various gifts for the youth, including those participating in the Restart program. The remaining funds were used to purchase the food for a traditional Christmas dinner, which was prepared by the Exchange Club.
Angel Givers this year included Voices of Hope, Commissioner Susan Wolff, the Great Falls Association of Realtors, and the Exchange Club.
The occasion was marked by joy and gratitude. “I was delighted that our youth recognized the thoughtfulness behind the giving,” explained Anjie Altschwager. “There were surprises, delights, and even tears! When the kids asked me why people give them stuff, I was able to communicate to them that people care. They give gifts to bring them joy. And that gives them joy, it’s a full circle.”
Some of the youth were quoted as saying:
“How did they know that Hot Topic is my favorite store?”
“I love the makeup?”
” Who told them that I love paw patrol?”
The Alliance for Youth extends its sincerest gratitude to all individuals and organizations who contributed to making this holiday season a memorable experience for the youth.
