The Big Sky Duplicate Bridge Club Unit 408 conducted its Fall Sectional Tournament last week at its facility located at 528 Smelter Ave NE, Suite 7. The club hosted nearly 70 players from Montana, Alberta and a few other Western states, and the tournament was directed by Ron Szabo. Ten of the top 20 master point winners at the Sectional event were Great Falls club members. Tim Spencer was fifth overall with 12.17 master points, followed by George Geise (9th), Barbara Flaherty (10th), Jeanne Peterson (13th), Genie Goodman and Anita Masters (14th and 15th); Paul Holland (16th); Ray Quigley (17th); Donna Johnson (18th) and Vicki Everson (19th).
Flaherty and Everson also were co-tournament managers.
Other club members earning points at the event were Donna Hoff, Maria Folsom, Ginger Christensen, Joann Gestring, Steve and Cathy Ayres, and Jerry Meinhardt.
