The Relay For Life movement unites communities worldwide, going beyond fundraising to focus on cancer prevention through educational activities and interactive games. Funds raised support innovative research, educational programs, prevention efforts, and provide vital resources for patients. They also offer daily support through initiatives like the Road to Recovery and come together to honor and celebrate those whose lives have been touched by cancer.

Relay For Life is the largest global fundraiser dedicated to fighting cancer, working tirelessly against all types and stages of the disease. They also provide essential support to patients and their families.

Relay for Life is the premier fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. This year, the event format has changed from the traditional walking event to a pasta dinner with a silent auction. The event will still incorporate some traditional relay activities, such as the luminaria ceremony and games. The dinner, which used to be exclusive to survivors, is now open to the public. The menu includes a pasta dish, salad, roll, beverage, and a cupcake for dessert. There will also be silent auction items to bid on. The event will take place at the Black Eagle Community Center on October 5th from 4:00 to 9:00. Cancer survivors can register for a survivor-only door prize.

Donations to Relay For Life empower the American Cancer Society to fund lifesaving research and amplify its impact in the battle against cancer. The American Cancer Society offers reliable information on cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment options, and clinical trials.
