Nicollette Christensen has been working as a pet groomer for eight years and is the owner of Wags & Whiskers Pet Grooming.

In April 2016, she was approached by Petcetera to join them as a pet groomer. She decided then that she would start her business next to them as Wags & Whiskers Pet Grooming.

Nicollette always had the ambition to become a veterinarian but was not keen on pursuing extensive schooling. Discovering grooming as a career path, she found it to be a favorable alternative with just eight weeks of schooling compared to 12 more years to become a vet.

She runs her business from the comfort of her own home at 417 4th Ave S, offering reasonable rates for grooming services. Nicollette is understanding of people’s financial situations, often working out payment options with clients who cannot afford the full grooming cost upfront. She also maintains small and large kennels for dogs and can accommodate appointments fairly quickly, usually within the same week or the following week.

Nicollette’s approach to grooming involves working with one pet at a time, taking about an hour to two hours per dog. This allows the dogs to return home promptly after their grooming session. Additionally, she offers grooming services for cats, noting that there are few grooming options available for felines in town. She ensures that all pets leave looking adorable and well-groomed.
