The library is proud to unveil our newly revamped Learning Kits available to check out with a library card starting today.
The 19 free kits available are geared for children ages four to eight years old. Each one contains between six to 10 books about a certain topic, and a craft or activity kit with supplies for four people included. Some of the kits will indicate when certain supplies are needed for the craft that are not provided, as well.
The themes are: Weather, Dinosaurs, Bears, Cats, Dogs, Secret Agents, Drawing, Mythology, Ancient Egypt, Horses, Montana, Trucks, Cars, Aircrafts, Insects, Sharks, Robotics, Trains and Birds!
Each one can be checked out at the front desk and be kept for 28 days. They’re available on the first floor next to Kids’ Place in new, hand-stitched bags.
