On the afternoon of Thursday, June 13th, a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 9th St N and Smelter Ave caused a temporary road closure. Both northbound turn lanes of 9th St N were temporarily closed, causing traffic to back up onto the 9th St bridge.

Emergency services, including the Great Falls MT Police Department, Deputies from Cascade County Sheriff/Coroner’s Office, fire crews from Great Falls Fire Rescue, and ambulance crews from Great Falls Emergency Services, responded to the two-vehicle accident. The crews worked together to clear the wreckage quickly. Three patients sustained minor injuries. Crash Investigator O’Brien declared the road open.
