Great Falls, Mont – Toys for Tots has been working diligently to prepare gifts for many children. “We got a bunch filled this weekend and my teenage tables for ages 13 to 17 are almost empty,” explained Kat.

This chapter of Toys for Tots covers eight counties. They have prepared deliveries not just for Great Falls, but also for Augusta, Sun River, and so many more. They help so many kids have a wonderful Christmas. There are several ways to help out. You can drop off toys at various locations, groups are trying to raise money for them as well, including Giving Tuesday which is December 12th at Super 1 Foods from 6 am to 6 pm, and Rage for Santa which will be held at The Do Bar on December 9th.

Even if you can’t afford to help through donation, maybe you could donate some of your time. “I wouldn’t mind having some volunteers come in the last week,” explained Kat. “They would just be filling orders. The toys come in and we have to count them and then we put them on the tables per age. Then we get the orders and fill them and then we bag them to go out to whichever agency.”

Anything left at the end needs to be packed up and put in storage to continue gathering more for next year. This process all needs as many hands as possible.
