Stranger Things is celebrating their 15th year at 522 Central Avenue in Great Falls. To celebrate this 15th year anniversary, they are having a storewide sale on November 9th, 10th, and 11th during the military appreciation days. This Sale includes 25% off everything in store with selected items 50% off. “We will be doing some gift boxes for the first couple people that make a $50 purchase and the first couple people that make $100 purchase along with a $500 and $1,000! We will be doing this each morning for the 3 days of the sale so everyone will get a chance,” explained Isaiah Partain.

Sheila started Stranger Things as a way to help take care of her son as a single mother. “Isaiah was a bit of a problem in school, so I had to keep leaving work to go to the school to be with him” Sheila explained. “I couldn’t keep leaving all the other employees hanging, so I had to figure something else out. We started going to yard sales and we would buy stuff then we would have yard sales. That way I could keep Isaiah with me all the time. We finally worked up enough to where a guy that was running the Westgate Mall let me go in there for $50 a month, and gradually it grew into this.”

Stranger Things sells a variety of crystals, stones, knives, swords, fairy and dragon figurines, incense, herbs, essential oils, tapestries, posters, tarot cards, and so much more.

Isaiah has been helping out off and on throughout the years, but the past 3 years he has been working at the store full time. “I pretty much just help her out with stuff. I help her out with the heavy lifting and working down here. I’m helping her so she can pretty much be retired and just hanging out. I do all this or try to anyway, since she’s worked hard enough.”

“I don’t know what I would do without him,” replied Sheila. “I can’t do any lifting or anything like that. He deals with all the customers. I pretty much just kind of put in orders and then help him unbox, he does most of it now. He’s really been a big help, if It wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have this store. It was the reason I started it because of the yard sales and stuff. The bad thing actually turned out working good.”
