Cas Adams and Sean Davis had enjoyed pet-sitting for friends, family, and acquaintances, for over seven years when they decided to start Five Beans Pet Care, which became an insured and bonded business on January 1, 2023.
Five Beans Pet Care is a family-owned and operated pet care service in Great Falls that provides in-home pet care, overnight in-home visits as well as dog walking.
“We know from experience with a lot of our pets that a lot of times, boarding facilities are not ideal because the pet is going to be much less stressed and much more comfortable in an environment that they’re familiar with. So that’s why we come to them,” explained Cas. “For us, home is where the paw prints are. We understand that your pet is most comfortable at home even when you can’t be.”
Cas and Sean care for all the animals themselves but are planning to have a friend join them for the holidays so they can care for more pets while people enjoy their vacations.
“We’re pretty transparent about our pricing,” explained Cas. “Each visit to the residence is $15, $20 per dog for a walk and then we have overnight stays available as well, for $45 per night.”
On October 21st, they will be having a Lick or Treat event at the Trailside Dog Park for pets. “We’re trying to get Great Falls as a community to have more pet-friendly events,” explained Cas. “We have a dog park, which opens us up for a lot of different things that we’re able to do. We thought that Halloween is a fun holiday, we could give out little goodie bags.”
The Trailside Dog Park is located at 1700 River Drive N. Everyone can come and bring their dogs or cats. Pets must be in a carrier or on a leash to make sure that they’re safe. They can swing through, get a little treat, and have some playtime. Each goodie bag will have pet-specific treats for cats or dogs.
Cas and Sean will be setting things up at the park so people can stop by from 3:00 – 5:00 on Saturday. If you have pets that are scared to go out, don’t worry, they will have extra goodie bags available to take home for them.
