Great Falls Man Fined $70,000 for Scheme to Defraud Medicaid

Great Falls, Mont. – Dustin Tempel, 39, of Great Falls, admitted to lying about his income to receive more than $75,000 in Medicaid health care benefits. Tempel was fined $70,000 and sentenced to three years of probation on November 9th, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich stated in a press release. The court also ordered $75,493 restitution.

Backyard Productions Presents Rage for Santa to Benefit Toys for Tots

Great Falls, Mont. – Backyard Productions Montana is hosting an event called Rage for Santa to benefit Toys for Tots. This is a 100% nonprofit event.
Jonas Shirley and Ryan Mullen met doing a local show with local bands and started Backyard Productions company about a year ago. “It’s our mission to try and get back some more music to the community,” explained Jonas. “We’re just very proud to announce it is for a toy drive.” There will be 11 acts from everything from metal to electric dance music for this event.

Malmstrom Brings Home Blanchard Trophy in 2023 Global Strike Challenge

Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont. – Malmstrom made history at Global Strike Challenge 2023 by taking home the Blanchard trophy for the fifth contest in a row.
This win, secured by a 10-point difference, was a major team effort naming them ‘best overall missile wing’.
Global Strike Challenge is the world’s premier bomber, intercontinental ballistic missile, helicopter operations, and security forces competition.
