Great Falls Gazette signed a lease on our new office on March 4th. We can start preparing for home delivery and other exciting things we hope to announce very soon. If you thought Home Delivery would be the big news for the Great Falls Gazette, you haven’t seen anything yet!
We can also set a tentative date for Home Delivery to begin. As of this writing, we expect that Home Delivery will start on April 12th. We’ll be phasing customers from mail delivery to home delivery based on their preference for delivery and the concentration of deliveries. We will begin in the neighborhoods with the most subscribers who have requested home delivery. We will add neighborhoods weekly, intending to have all Great Falls and Augusta home deliveries set up by May 10th.
If you have not requested home delivery, you MUST contact us and request it. If you do not request home delivery by March 29th (Good Friday), we may not include your neighborhood in the initial batch of delivery migrations. This is particularly important if you are in a secure building, as we must coordinate with your building management to ensure your paper gets to you! Deliveries may happen as early as 4:30 am. Note that we have requirements that our delivery people do not have loud vehicles and that their behavior must be exemplary. We take delivery complaints very seriously.
Of course, this is all rather dependent on a few outside sources to get our supplies and equipment to us in time. Currently, we are also looking for contract delivery people; however, we will not be able to assign routes until after April 2nd. To set up home (or office!) delivery, please call (406) 604-8929, and we’d be very happy to start getting you set up for delivery!
