Author, speaker and former politician Dorothy Bradley visits the Great Falls Public Library on Feb. 2 to talk about her book ‘In Celebration.’ The talk in the Cordingley Room starts at 5 pm. Cassiopeia Books will be on hand to offer books for sale and Dorothy will sign copies afterward.
Bradley’s publisher describes her book saying, “Dorothy Bradley’s lifelong commitment to Love, Learning, Beauty, Hope, and Heart is infused throughout this collection of short essays and reminiscences.”
Bradley has had a lengthy career in Montana politics. She served eight terms in the Montana House of Representatives from 1971 to 1978 and again from 1985 to 1992. She also ran as the Democratic nominee for Governor in 1992 against eventual winner Marc Racicot.
In her book, a small sample which is available online, Bradley writes, “We never really know how the future will judge and possibly appreciate what we have contributed—maybe even honor it in some way—or maybe not. And it doesn’t really matter. We were the lucky ones who got to see an opportunity and make a positive contribution.”
