The Great Falls Police Department is currently investigating multiple fraud incidents linked to Level Up Tattoo. On October 30th, 2024, the department issued a media release indicating that they had received numerous complaints and initially referred these cases to the Montana Office of Consumer Protection (MOCP).
As of January 7th, approximately 24 victims have filed reports with the Montana Office of Consumer Protection. Due to this high volume of complaints, the investigation has now been transferred to the Great Falls Police Department. Detective Kelsey is leading this investigation and is reaching out to the community for assistance. If you believe you are a victim, please preserve any evidence or communication related to the fraud.

If you have not reported to MOCP but believe you are a victim, please call (406) 455-8575 and leave a voicemail, including your name, phone number, and a reference to the incident.
The department emphasizes the need for patience as the investigation progresses. Detective Kelsey will follow up with all victims, but this may take several weeks. They also advise against contacting the dispatch center regarding this investigation.
