The Great Falls Rescue Mission is pleased to announce its Thanksgiving dinner and cordially invites all members of the community to participate. This event is scheduled to take place on November 28th at 1:00 pm at the Men’s Shelter, located at 326 2nd Avenue South.

In addition, the Great Falls Rescue Mission will be present at Albertson’s on 10th Ave S on November 15th, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, to collect food items for the annual Thanksgiving Food Box Giveaway, in conjunction with the Cats vs. Griz initiative. Items needed for these boxes include Turkeys, Potatoes, Green Beans (15 oz. can), Yams (15 oz. can), Canned Vegetables, Stove Top Stuffing Mix, Chicken Broth, Dinner Rolls and Coffee. There will be two-hour shifts available from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm for this collection. Participants are encouraged to wear their Bobcat or Grizzly team apparel to demonstrate their support. Food donations will be accepted at the Administration Office at 408 2nd Ave S, East Entrance, Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

For those who are new to volunteering with The Great Falls Rescue Mission, Lynne will be available to provide a tour and assist in identifying how one’s time and skills can be effectively utilized.
