Meet Caelan – A Remarkable Survivor With a Whole Lot of Love to Give
Caelan is an almost three-year-old brown tabby who has overcome incredible odds and is now ready for his forever home. About a year and a half ago, he suffered fractures in both of his back legs; they have fully healed, and he still carries a few pins in each leg, which is perfectly normal unless removal is medically necessary. He moves, plays, and jumps just like any other cat, though he may get a bit stiff if he’s been lounging too long.
This handsome boy loves laser toys, wand toys, following his people around the house, and snuggling once he feels secure. He isn’t a fan of being picked up or having his lower back handled, but he enjoys chest rubs once he trusts you. Caelan has a dominant personality and would thrive as the only cat in a calm home without dogs or small children.
He’s a resilient, loving companion who has triumphed over serious injuries and is now looking for someone who will appreciate his strength, respect his boundaries, and love him unconditionally.
