
Bonny Sue Toavs was born on March 20, 1941, in Lyle, Minnesota to Blanche and Robert Greiner. She accepted Christ as her savior at a very young age and was proud of her faith! She attended school in Lyle where she was a cheerleader in high school. She graduated from Lyle High School and continued her studies at St. Paul Bible College where she met the love of her life, Warren Toavs. They were married on July 9, 1960, and just celebrated 65 years together. To this union was born 3 children, Jodi (Toavs) Feller in October of 1961, Jeffrey Toavs in April of 1963 and Jolene Toavs in February of 1967.
Bonny worked as a bank teller in high school, a telephone operator in Wolf Point in addition to helping on the farm. She also worked as a compliance checker for a law firm in Billings and a secretary for the fertilizer company before she and Warren opened WBT Enterprises. She was the VP and bookkeeper for the business for many years. Her most precious job was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. When Warren retired, they became snowbirds in Arizona where they met many great friends.
She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing her favorite marble game, Cutthroat. She was very devoted to her Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings. Bonny was called to her eternal rest on November 18, 2025. She was preceded by her parents, Blanche and Robert, her sisters, Betty and Georgia, her parents in law, Selma and Frank Toavs.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Warren, Jodi (Mike), Jeffrey (Jana), Jolene (Jim), sister Becky, Aunt Helen, grandchildren Joshua (Sara) Toavs, Nichole (Paul) Benjamin, Patrick (Natalie) Brewer, Jeremiah (Katelyn) Toavs, Travis Feller, Charlie (Chris) Laubacher, Jerod (Brittany) Toavs and Jordan Toavs. Great grandchildren, Austin Feller, Vance Feller, Brooklynn Feller, Alexis Brewer, Kadence Laubacher, Kasen Toavs, Kylie Laubacher, Madison Brewer, Harlow Toavs, Karleigh Feller, Ellie Toavs, Easton Toavs, Christopher Laubacher, Tuff Toavs, Jacob Brewer, Lleyton Feller, Spencer Feller, Tripp Toavs and Wilbur Toavs, many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Cremation has taken place, and the family will have a private memorial ceremony with burial of ashes in Minnesota in the Spring.
