The City of Great Falls has a contract with Central Plumbing, Heating, Excavation to replace water mains along 13th St NW, between 5th Ave NW and Central Ave W. The project is scheduled to take approximately two months, spanning October and November. Work will begin at 5th Ave NW and progress south toward Central Ave W.
Starting Wednesday, October 1 st , 13th St NW will be closed between 5th Ave NW and 3rd Ave NW for two months to accommodate water main replacement. Additionally, 13th St NW between 3rd Ave NW and Central Ave W will be closed October 2nd – 3 rd for asphalt milling operations.
Central Plumbing, Heating, Excavation will install barricades and detour signage to guide traffic safely around the construction zone. Access to residences, West Elementary, and local businesses will remain available.
