The Montana High School Association is pleased to announce the 2025 MHSA All-State Music Festival Gala Concert, scheduled for Friday, October 17, at 7:00 PM in the Mansfield Theater at the Civic Center.

This event will showcase Montana’s most exceptional student musicians, who will perform in a dynamic evening of artistic expression under the baton of esteemed conductors. The All-State Band will be directed by Dr. Stephen P. Bolstad (retired, James Madison University), the All-State Orchestra will be conducted by John Gennaro Devlin (Wheeler Symphony), and Dr. Richard Sparks (retired, University of North Texas) will lead the All-State Choir.

The festival will be held at the same time as the Montana Music Educators Association Conference, which will take place at Great Falls High School from October 16th to 17th. Great Falls will be a hub of musical activity, welcoming outstanding educators and their talented students from across the state.

A total of 68 students from Great Falls Public Schools will represent the district at this prestigious event, including 46 students from C.M. Russell High School and 22 students from Great Falls High School. This representation constitutes approximately 18% of the Honor Groups participating statewide.
