The City of Great Falls has appointed Montana Materials and Construction to undertake a road slide repair project. This construction work is scheduled to occur from September 25, 2025, to November 6, 2025, requiring the closure of the South Parking Lot located off Giant Springs Road.
Throughout the duration of the project, semi-trucks and heavy equipment will be entering and exiting Giant Springs Road, with work activities conducted on the north side (vegetated side) of the guardrail. Access for businesses along Giant Springs Road will remain unaffected. The contractor will implement barricades, cones, and signage to ensure safety within the construction area.
