The First Friday Art Walk was originally established in February 2004 and allows artists to meet and greet the community in the comfort of their studios or art spaces.

On the first Friday of each month, select local artists’ studios and arts organizations open their doors to the public from 5 pm to 8 pm, allowing visitors to view and enjoy their work. The First Friday Art Walk is free, making it accessible for everyone to explore the studios of talented local artists and various arts organizations throughout the town.

Community members can interact with local artists from Great Falls, including several who exhibit their works at the Columbus Center, located at 1601 2nd Ave N, on the west wing of the fourth floor.

Some of the artists you will find at the Columbus Center include:

Janet Sedlacek, an artist known for her remarkable scenic artwork, created using paint and charcoal.

Mark Amundson is an artisan who specializes in crafting unique jewelry from polished stones and creating distinctive wooden decor.
