Letters to the editor are typically short responses to articles or events, while opinion articles are longer pieces that express a personal opinion on a specific topic. If you’ve read an article that you really enjoyed or one that you didn’t, consider sharing your thoughts by writing a letter to the editor. If you have an opinion about a subject, feel free to send an opinion article.
Civilized letters to the editor may be submitted, and must include full name (we print first name, last initial), hometown, and either a phone number or email address. Letters that attack others, are patently untrue, or are of a harmful nature WILL be rejected!
Opinion pieces are printed verbatim, in their entirety, and are not fact-checked. We reserve the right to not run an opinion piece that we find objectionable.
