On July 18th, the Montana Law Enforcement Academy (MLEA) celebrated the graduation of sixty-six new officers who will now serve in 35 different agencies throughout the state. MLEA is responsible for providing essential training for law enforcement personnel at various levels, including state, county, city, and tribal agencies.
“I am proud of the men and women who graduated today for choosing a career in law enforcement,” stated Attorney General Austin Knudsen, as he addressed the graduates. “They will have challenges ahead, but their training at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy has prepared them and will serve them well. Congratulations to the Law Enforcement Officer Basic Course 187 graduates.”
Among the graduates, the Montana Highway Patrol welcomed 12 new officers, and the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office added one to their team. A complete list of the graduates from this session can be found at https://fpc-go.com/bra.
